During the instant quote tool on your website and from Rep Quotes, each roof structure will show a suggested slope for improved accuracy and enhanced experience

Updating Homeowner Quotes
Homeowner Instant Quotes:
After entering an address into your instant quote website tool, the homeowner will see a suggested slope for each roof structure on their property
The suggested slope will only be one of the four slope selections:
Flat, Shallow, Medium, or Steep
The slope will display "(Suggested)" underneath if the slope suggestion is available
If slope data is unavailable, the slope will resort back to the default selection
Homeowners still have the ability to change the slope for each structure even if it has a suggested slope
Rep Quotes
After entering an address into your Rep Quotes tool, you will see a suggested slope for each roof structure on their property
The suggested slope will be one of the four slope selections or a custom slope value
Flat, Shallow, Medium, Steep, or 0/12 - 18/12
The slope will display "(Suggested)" underneath if the slope suggestion is available
If slope data is unavailable, the slope will resort back to the default selection
Users have the ability to change the slope for each structure even if it has a suggested slope
Slope Reporting
Slope data will be displayed in the Leads Details screen for each lead
To see the lead details, click on the lead's 'Contact Name' from the dashboard list
The slope will be displayed as either one of the four selections (flat, shallow, medium, steep) or show a custom value (0/12 - 18/12)
Slope data will also be displayed in the Lead Email Notifications
Updating Homeowner Quotes In Rep Quotes
Users can open a homeowner instant quote in Rep Quotes from two places
1 - Users can click 'Open Quote' from the lead details screen
2 - Users can also open a saved quote by clicking the three dots to the right of a lead in the dashboard and selecting 'Open Quote'
Opening a saved homeowner instant quote will show the slopes which were used to calculate the quote
Users can update the slope(s) using a custom suggested slope rather than the basic slope suggestions (flat, shallow, medium, steep)
Click the 'Custom' option on the roof structure card to see the custom suggested slope
Click 'Save' to update
Switching to a custom slope will update the quote pricing and structure data for that opened quote in real time
To save the new pricing and update the quote, click the 'Update Lead' button at the bottom right of your screen
The popup will allow you to save the Constructions and Products and Price for that lead
Be Aware - Updating the lead constructions and pricing will override the homeowner's original instant quote since you've changed their slope to custom. This will likely change the price they saw from their instant quote. This is helpful if you are creating a final proposal, but will need to be explained to the homeowner.
Turning Off Suggested Slopes
Even though it is not recommended, you may decide to turn off suggested slopes for your instant quotes
Go to Settings and select 'Additional Settings' from the Feature dropdown menu
Expand the Suggested Slope Settings section
Turn off the Show Suggested Slope toggle
Save your changes
