Add Steep Slope Charge

Labor typically cost more for steep slope roofs

Add a Steep Slope Charge to include that extra cost. It can be calculated either Per Sq or as a Fixed Cost.

NOTE: Steep Slope Charges will be automatically calculated into the Instant Quote price for any roof determined to be 9/12 slope or more.

Add Default Waste Factor

Incorporate waste in your instant quote pricing. This also allows your reps to adjust the waste when finalizing a quote in Rep Quotes.

NOTE: Waste Factor will be included in the final price calculation.

  1. Scroll down to Add Waste Factor
  2. Turn on Add Waste Factor toggle

WARNING!  Do not double calculate waste

All of your products' per square pricing is likely already factoring in a default waste.  After turning on Add Waste Factor, you will need to adjust your product pricing to remove any waste percentage that was built into the price beforehand.

Use AI-Suggested Waste

Turn on AI Suggested Waste to use a dynamic waste factor for even more accurate instant quotes. The system takes into account facet count, roof size, and roof type when determining suggested waste.

To activate, toggle the switch located below the Default Waste Factor section.

NOTE: The Default Waste Factor will be used for all instant quotes if Suggested Waste is turned off or when suggested waste can't be calculated.

PRO TIP: Suggested waste will be shown in your Contact Details Instant Quote tab
