Connect Your Outbound Email Address
Easily connect your company and individual email accounts so that quotes and financing invitations sent to homeowners come from you and not Roofle.
Requirements:
- Roof Quote PRO™ active subscription
Overview:
Connect Default Outbound Email (Native)
Manually Connect Default Outbound Email
NOTE: Your company’s ‘inbound’ email is used for receiving notifications such as new leads, and requires no extra connection.
The ‘outbound’ email is used for sending info to homeowners, such as instant online quotes, product details, and finance pre-qual invitations.
Instructions:
- To start, login to your portal and look for the Settings icon.
- From the dropdown, choose Emails
- On the Email Settings page, choose the Connections tab
- Click the pencil icon next to the Outbound Email label
- If your company’s outbound email isn’t connected, this action can also be triggered by clicking the connect it link in the red warning box.
- In the popup, confirm it’s the correct email address your company will use for sending emails to homeowners.
- Select your email service - either Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Microsoft.
Gmail, Outlook & Microsoft use OAuth and will launch a new page for you to login
Yahoo will require you to create a 3rd-party app password. A guide is linked in your PRO portal.
- Select your email service - either Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Microsoft.
- Complete the authentication process.
- Ensure that you grant the Roofle platform the ability to send emails on your behalf.
- Click Save.
- 🎉 Boom! 👉 Now your company email will be used for sending instant quotes, product info, and pre-qual invitations requested by homeowners.
PRO TIP: If you have multiple markets, you have the option to connect a different outbound email for each market.
